Secondary School Links

ISM provides classes for children from 3 to 11 years of age. Each year our graduating Year 6 class move on to a variety of secondary school destinations both in Switzerland and abroad.

ISM children are well prepared academically and socially for secondary school and our experience is that they make the transition confidently and demonstrate a high academic level in their new school.

Our Brillantmont link provides parents with the security of a guaranteed option. There are several other international school options in the area with a variety of locations, curricula and styles.

The School Director is available for parents to discuss the options available. Applications to secondary schools are encouraged at least 12 months in advance to give the best chance of success.

Many families will choose to leave the area at the time their children make the transition from primary to secondary school; this may be to another international school or back to their home education system.  Whatever the scenario ISM will work closely with each family to ensure they have the support they require. This may be in the form of counseling and discussion with a senior member of staff or the provision of supporting documents and letters of recommendation.
