Enrolment

Parents are welcome to enroll their children at the school at any time and are advised to so as early as possible as classes are often over-subscribed.

School visits are welcome and we will always try to accommodate your visit. Please try to give as much notice as possible to allow a convenient time to be agreed.

ISM does not give preferential places to employees of any specific company or organisation and all applications are treated equally on a first come first served basis. Once one child has been accepted into the school other siblings are given priority for places in other classes but this does not mean places are guaranteed.

ISM encourages applications for new children to commence the academic year in September each year. Children are accepted for entry to the school at other times subject to places being available.

Enrolment Procedure

1. Parents should complete an Application Form; this is not a commitment and incurs no charge.
   Upon receipt of an Application Form the child / children will be placed on the admissions list.
   A valid application must be submitted on the ISM official application form and all sections must be completed accurately, all required supporting documents must be submitted before an application can be fully processed.
2. The ISM Admissions Office will issue an acknowledgement of receipt of the application form.
3. Places for the next academic year are offered between mid-March and mid-April, parents are offered places according to waiting list priority and are given a fixed period of time to accept or release the place.
4. Parents commit to the place and sign a contract confirming their children’s attendance.
5. Upon receipt of the signed contract an invoice for a deposit of CHF 2,500.- is issued.
6. A final confirmation is issued once the deposit has been received by the school. The deposit is deductible from the annual tuition fee.
