The Fribourg International School (FIS) will open its doors in September 2008. Ideally situated in Matran, we are perfectly placed to provide the ideal education solution for families situated throughout the Fribourg region. FIS will make its home in the Maison St Joseph, only a minute from the motorway and close to many of the international companies presently located or currently being located in the area.

Students will have the opportunity to forge links with the local community through co-operation with other schools and regular excursions. Our aim is that students acquire a thorough understanding of their host country, its language and traditions. At the same time we offer a high quality curriculum, with an excellent international reputation, taught in English allowing an easy transition for families who may move again in the future.
